So sorry to hear of John's passing. I grew up in one of the houses by John. I remember him as being a kind gentle person as well his love for gardening. John and Greta had the biggest garden that I had ever seen. He would also stop and talk to my brother and I in the garden as we watched them in the garden. Heaven gained a great person.

So very sorry to hear of John’s passing . He was such a sweet man and gentle soul . I always loved to hear about his family that he loved dearly and baseball of course ♥️whenever he got his haircut in the salon at Methwick . Heaven gained a good one for sure !!! He will be missed

So blessed to have had John in our family. Many fond memories of your parents. Keep the faith during your sorrow and healing.

I'm very sorry to learn of John's passing. Hold his memories close to your hearts.

I remember our visits to Cedar Rapids, and Uncle John as a very kind man. Although I haven’t been around to know you all very well, I think of you fondly and wish you all my sympathy. My parents loved their brother in law! R.I.P. Justin Hanson

So sad to learn of John's passing. My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with John at IIG&E. John was one of the nicest guys you could ever ask for. John would treat us every now and then to his homemade cinnamon rolls. They were delicious. I pray the Lord Jesus Christ comforts you all, now and always. Amen.
