David S. Hamer, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM, Friday, April 18th, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom. A Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, April 19th at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
David is survived by his son, Logan and grandchildren Tucker, Rylee, and Grant; mother, Fran (Ken) DeMarce; step- siblings, Kayla (Bryce) Paulson and Kip (Nikki) DeMarce; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Hamer; brother Dennis Hamer and his grandparents.
David grew up in Cedar Rapids and was a graduate of Washington High School. He has been employed with Frontier Co-op for the past 11 years.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Metco Credit Union 115 8th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 for David.
