So sorry to hear of the passing of another of the greatest generation. He made a generational impact of tremendous influence. My most sincere condolences to the McPartland family.

I very vividly recall trudging through and struggling with everything I owned from my apartment, jammed in a suitcase and my Olin ski bag, moving back from Southlake Tahoe, California, and transferring through Denver’s Stapleton airport. I could not go any further without taking a rest when here comes a familiar, but not known face from the great sport of tennis but Mr. McPartland. He did not know me, but I had recognized him from visuals on the tennis courts. I introduced myself, and jokingly said, “do you want to carry these for me?” Mr. Mc Partland was such a kind good natured lad to me then. We laughed, exchanged pleasantries & on we went. A wee bit of lasting memorable humanity. What a C E L E B R A T I O N he is having with the generations that have gone before him✝️

My privilege to have known Pat&to be welcomed into his loving home as were many of us growing up in the Bever park area. There was always something interesting he had to share,be it books ,music , or sports and he helped foster your sense of curiosity. To a long well lived life. Deepest condolences to the McPartland family.

Thanks to our son's friendship with Bryan, we were fortunate to meet Pat and enjoy conversations on a variety of topics over the years. He was a Renaissance man. Our condolences...

McPartland’s were our neighbors on 23rd St when I was a teenager. I have such good memories of those long ago years. I babysat Dennis and Sean, Pat and my Dad always had “car talk”, and so many good times. He lived a long good life and I’m so glad our family have so many good memories.

With all our love to each of you. Your dad was so amazing. Dave spent many good times at that house on Beaver. He learned some football from Pat. He adds this is the first place he heard "Straight No Chaser" by Buddy Rich Big Band. Joyce and Pat would feed him. (go figure). And always so welcoming. Talked current events in the family room So many good memories!!!. We are sending love and strength and hugs.
