Our sympathy to you Dave and your family. God's love and justice was lived out in Dorothys life. Peace and Joy to all.

I treasure the friendship Dorothy offered to me when I moved to Cedar Rapids from Michigan in 2000. She and Pastor Dave became best friends. I followed them to Salem church and rejoiced with all the new friends we made there together. Dorothy was a perfect Pastor’s wife and friend to all of us. Everyone will miss her smiling face.

It was an honor to serve with Dorothy as officers of Iowa Conference United Methodist Women. Her enthusiasm for justice and social action inspired all of us.

It was a joy to get to know Dorothy at various UMC events throughout the years. I appreciated her gentle spirit and wisdom. Prayers surround your whole family in this loss.

Dorothy was a friend to us all. She had a way of connecting with people with her smile and her ready understanding of the important things in life. I join with her family in celebrating her life. She found a way to connect positively with other people. She mattered. Her life mattered. And, we are all better because she was her. God blessed us all. William C.
