Kay and family, I just learned of Dave's passing. My heart goes out to you and the entire family. Although our lives have drifted in different directions over the years, our family often speaks of the fun times at Ivanhoe with the Canfield family, and the Buscher, Whisler, Demory, & Ferry families and, of course Sonny and all the others. My sincerest condolences to you and all the Canfields. Hugs, Nancy Wombacher & family

Brad, unfortunately I was unable to make your father's visitation and service this past week as I was out of town...Sandy & I simply want to express our sincere condolences to you and your entire family on the passing of Dave. Regards, Brandt & Sandy Worley

I did not know Mr. Canfield. I knew that he had built a successful business and that he was a nice man. To Brad and the rest of his family you have my deepest sympathy.

Please accept our dearest condolences for the sudden loss of Dave. We are deeply saddened and are praying for strength and comfort for you all! He was uniquely kind and a genuinely well loved individual that meant so much to so many. We will forever be grateful for sharing life with him and remembering how special he was to us all! May you rest in Heavenly peace Dave and may God Bless your entire family!

Kay, Brad, Lisa and all Canfield family. My heart is heavy hearing of Dave's passing. I feel very privileged to work for him during Distinctive packaging and Assemblers Inc. To being the 1st employee of CCB Packaging. Dave taught me alot through all those years. He was the most caring person to work for I always admired him for that. His love for family always shined through. To me, he was a true legend I feel blessed to have known him. May the Good Lord wrap his loving arms around you and carry you through.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Dave. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time. Dave was a wonderful person, and his memory will forever be cherished. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy, George & Marie Chalhoub

Dave was truly genuine and always took time to lift up others around him. Not long ago, I spotted Dave and his wife at a restaurant. I told my wife I hadn't seen him in years and he would probably call security if I went over to say "hi". But I did. and he treated me like we were long lost buddies. What a gentleman and an outstanding person Dave was. I will always be a Dave Canfield fan! The world lost a great individual! Canfield family, I am truly sorry for your loss. God bless you!

Dear Canfields, My heart is breaking in hearing of your immense loss. Sending you all such abounding love and support as you walk through this impossible time. Prayers of comfort and peace.

So sorry and sad to hear of Dave's ("Sahib'"s) passing. We had a long, professional, working, and friendly relationship. It was so enjoyable to see him and Brad grow CCB Packaging into the successful company it has become today. We shared a lot of hopes and dreams together, as well as a few beers and many laughs between us. May God comfort his family, friends, and loved ones at this difficult time.

Kay, I’m so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He will be missed by many. It was always fun to see you and Dave and the rest of your family in Florida (and at the airport coming and going to/from Cedar Rapids). Love, hugs and prayers.

So much to celebrate in his life! I got to spend time with his son and grandson in middle school football. They both had a zeal for life that emanated from the root of their family tree. So memorable and enjoyable to recall! May all the Angels, Saints, Holy men and Holy women welcome him into God’s eternal Grace. And “hats off” to 66 years of marriage!
