Oh, the GOOD memories! I echo EVERYTHING my brother said, but the treat I recall is chocolate brownies. The nights in the Manhattan warming house around the oil burning stove, trying to coax feeling back into our hands and feet. Feeling good if I beat Terry in a race but being happy for him if I didn’t. My wife, Diane, read me the obituary on I drive back from a day skiing at Purgatory in CO, and I teared up a bit recalling my first skiing experience …strapping on two wood skis with single leather straps for bindings, over galoshes for ski boots, on the hill behind the Springer lodge. And I lived to tell! Thank you, Virginia, and ALL the Springers, for being part of a magical time growing up.❤️. My deepest condolences….

Dear Springer Family, The wonderful light of your Mom and Dad radiated a warmth that permeated into the speed skating days of my life. The amazing laughter and comradery around the Springer kitchen table eating Virginia's delicious, scrumptious cinnamon treats after Sunday races has always and still bring those fond, warm memories. My condolences to you all for your mom's passing. Sincerely, Steven C Armstrong

Our Aunt Ginny brought so much laughter, love and togetherness. She was truly an angel on earth and her cinnamon sticks were heavenly. Our condolences to the Springer Family. May Ginny rest in peace with Uncle Don and be surrounded by God's love and abundant Irish songs! "May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand" love you always, Dave, Marcia, Lauren, Brad, Becca, Jake--The Bogle Family

Our memories are filled with so much love, true fun times, a “Hostess with the Mostest”, a very beautiful lady who shared her love, home, guidance with ALL! She and Don were a Gift to each other and to all of us! God Blessed us all with both of them- and their AMAZING family!! Rest in Peace dear Ginny and Don!! I adored you both💖❤️💙🙏🙏

The Eller Family would like to extend our heart felt condolences to the Springer family. We were blessed to get to know Don and Virginia through Saint Jude's Church. The example mom and dad set was so impressionable and inclusive, we were blessed to call them Dylan's ( our youngest son ) God Parents. We thank our heavenly Father, for putting people like Virginia in our path, to help shape us into the people we hope to emulate - mom and dad. Thank you for sharing a very loving, a very special lady.
