Dear Karam Family, You are in our hearts today. Our association with your incredible family was born on the baseball diamond, but our respect for George extended far beyond the athletic world. He was such a kind, loving, gentle man. We are sorry that we will be unable to pay our respects in person, but please know that we share in your loss. We pray that memories of George will sustain you. Sending hugs to you all.

Sue and family, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. George was always so happy and pleasant when I see him and talk to him. Of course with him and Dad teaching for so many years, they always had something to talk about. And touched so many lives. It’s hard to believe we’re losing so many wonderful people of St. George. I pray for your comfort and just remember your children and grandchildren will help cherish those good memories of your family. God bless your family. May George rest in peace. Memory Eternal Kelly Sachtschale (Yuza) and family

Susan and family, Throughout the years of getting to know your beautiful family Josh and I always felt lucky to host such a wonderful group. Truly one of the joys of my career was welcoming your family back to your Walker home over the summers. Getting to know George, the advice and wisdom he passed on will always be treasured by Josh and I. Early morning talks with George at the Lodge. What great hospitality is made of. He was truly incredible in the ways of making connections with all that he met, but also in the way he cared and loved the Lord. We will be praying for your family as you walk through losing such a great man. God Bless, Rachel, Josh and the Bullivant kids And the Trapper’s Landing Lodge Family

My deepest condolences to Aunt Sue and the family. From the first time I met Uncle George, he welcomed me with open arms to the family. He made me feel right at home. The kids still have the feathers that George gave them a few years back next to their beds. We are going to miss him dearly. Love, Drew DeCap

Dear Susan and family, You have my deepest sympathies on George’s passing. He will be missed by all who loved and admired him. I met him his first year of teaching and he eventually became my principal. I so enjoyed working with him all those years...he was a good listener and he had faith in his staff to always do the right thing for each student. I pray for God’s comfort for you at this time.

There aren’t enough words to express how very sorry I am your loss. I don’t think there was a student he didn’t impact. His kindness, humor and his ability to always see and bring out the best in anyone. He always gave us the belief that we could do anything and be anything. He just made us want to do better, to be better. He is a once in a lifetime person and we were truly blessed to have him in our lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you .

Sue, im sorry to hear about your husband. He was one of the dearest men I knew. When I was In 7th grade, he picked me up at St Luke's n drove me to school in Lisbon. I was the recipient of his tough love om more than one occasion. He was the kindest, most caring men ever. I talked to him this year, and thought of calling 3 days ago. I hope you can find comfort In knowing Lisbon, IA loved him. He did so much for the kids and community. I wrote a paper about him in HS, last we spoke, he sd he still had it. My heart is broken for you and your sons, and for myself. He was truly the best ever.
