My caring thoughts are with the family of Sandy (Umstead) Trimble upon her recent death. My pleasant memories of her go way back to the days when we were next-door neighbors on 33rd Street N.E. in the Kenwood neighborhood of Cedar Rapids. I well recall Sandy and her Mother and siblings Ron and Sharon, and I extend my sincerest sympathy to all of her family at this sad time of loss.

To my nephews David and John and my niece Julie: my sister and your mom is now in heaven with her mom and brother and sister. She lived a good life but Alzheimer’s is a debilitating illness and it took her from us. She is no longer in pain and can now watch you from above and know everything will be ok. My heart aches as does yours but remember the good times. Hugs to all of you 💜💜
