Anne and family, we were so sorry to just learn of Dick’s passing. I have so many great memories of our matches at Westfield and the tennis trips we took with the Iowa 3.5 teams to play in tournaments throughout the Midwest. He was an excellent tennis player and always an example of good sportsmanship. But, most of all he was a great friend who I enjoyed visiting with before and after our Westfield matches. Barb and I are sorry that we were out the country at the time of his services.

I'm very sorry to hear of Dick's Passing. Condolences to Ann and all of his family. Dick was an excellent Finance Director in General Aviation at Collins. He was always the most supportive person at the table and was willing to help find the best way (for everyone) to solve a problem or take advantage of an opportunity. We were blessed with more opportunities than we could handle based on our available resources so his wisdom was particularly important as we evaluated opportunities and had to make hard decisions. He was also a mentor to many of us and he did it in such an effective way that you didn't know he was doing it. You just knew that if he hinted that there was a path that would work out, you needed to consider it as the gold standard approach.
