Dorothy was passionate about AAUW and helping women to have access to higher education. She contributed to the Eleanor Roosevelt Foundation which gave fellowships to women in America as well as other countries. She remained active in AAUW extending friendship and leadership until the end. She is already missed.

Lisa--Carol and I extend our sincere condolences. My last visit with your mother was at the time of a reunion of Weland employees a few years ago. For fun, I'd created a little trivia contest about Weland Laboratories. Your mother answered every one faster (and correctly) than anyone else. I considered her a dear friend.

We are so saddened to learn of Dorothy's passing. She was a long time friend. We shared our enjoyment of AAUW . Dorothy and I played in the same bridge club together for about 50 years. She was a very bright and lovely lady. We will miss her.
