So many of my best childhood memories surround Danielle and the Burrows. I remember taking the bus home from McKinley, walking down the alley, and into your backyard. I remember sitting at your kitchen table, being in the basement, or in Danielle's room. Mr. and Mrs. Burrows provided a family environment that was happy, stable, and full of love. How blessed you were to have her as your mom, Danielle and Brent, and wife, Mr. Burrows. She always seemed to do it all so effortlessly and with beauty. I am deeply sorry for your pain. With much love, Amy

Brent and family — We are so very sorry to read about the loss of your dear mom. Sending our love to you as you mourn her death and celebrate her life.

Jim, Brent, Danielle and families ... I was shocked to read of Kaye’s passing. I have such happy memories of your family, including “Nana,” from Grant Wood days through Washington High School. Kaye exuded such warmth and class - I don’t believe I ever saw her without a smile. I know her “love of family,” will be her shining legacy and, hopefully, bring you much comfort during this difficult time and the many years ahead. Please know that you are in my thoughts.

Jim, how fortunate you were to have such a sweet woman in your life. I am so glad I got to meet her through your work. I recall her laugh/giggle which makes me smile even today. May the love & memories you shared help you through difficult days. God bless you.

I AM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS. I FELT THAT KAYE TAUGHT ME SO MUCH ABOUT LIFE, ENTERTAINING AND DECORATING. IN THESE PAST FEW DAYS I HAVE FOUND MYSELF REMEMBERING “ONE MORE THING” ABOUT HER. MY PRAYERS FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

To the family.. I am sorry for your loss. Our prayers our with you.

Jim, Brent, Danielle and families, My deepest condolences to you on Kaye’s passing. She was a sweet and classy lady. I have many fond memories Of our children’s school days at Grant Wood. She was so helpful at your paint/decorating business. May the thoughts and prayers of all those who love you help sustain you at this difficult time.

She was a grace-given part of my childhood. I always felt warmth at your family table with your mom as the consummate hostess and the dry wit to tone up our foolishness. Such a shiny soul. So many bright memories of days at your house. My deepest condolences, prayers and love for the whole family.

Danielle...so very sorry about the loss of your mother. Thinking of you and praying for comfort for you and your family.

Jim and family, We share in your sadness and loss. You were great neighbors on R Rd. I always enjoyed hearing Kaye help us with our phone conversations as we struggled with names and memories. We will toast Kaye tonight with a martini and we look forward to visiting with over coffee soon. Dave and Barb C
