We had the pleasure of being of service to Edith for many years. Our driver spoke of how extremely kind she was every time he saw her. She will be greatly missed. Our sincere sympathy to her family.

I am so sorry we lost track of where Edith was in the last while. I would have cherished ministering to her. She was so faithful in attending St. Paul's when she was able, usually the Saturday night or early Sunday services. I also knew her mother, Mable often in her home, once discovering she was caught with her elbow in a dresser drawer when she fell off her bed. I felt so sorry for her. I believe I had her funeral service but don't recall the date. Georgie Miller was our hired man on our farm southwest of Colesburg for many years when I was a boy. My sisters loved to meet him at the driveway and ride in the rumble seat to where he parked. It was such a blessing to have known Edith and I want to express my sincere sympathy to all of you at this time of loss. She was a sincere, dedicated Christian lady. Rev. Brockmeyer, Minister of Congregational Care,St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids.

I had the pleasure of meeting Edith around 10 years ago. And from that point on I got to see her almost every week. She would call Hy-vee and place her grocery order and then I would take it to her. How wonderful it was to visit with her! I was blessed to have known her and have her in my life. I know I will think of her often, and smile, because of the joy she gave me! Loving thoughts and prayers to you Viola and Susan and the rest of the extended family. Amy Eberle
