My deepest condolences on the loss of Stephen. Stephen was the son of Herman and Ruth Rohr of Sioux City and Herman would have been my Great Uncle, brother of my Grandfather Richard Rohr. My grandmother was Eloise Rohr who would have been Stephen's aunt. It sounds as if he was a great guy and I hope that heaven welcomes him with open arms. I hope he has a good re-uniting with his parents and relatives. Take care and may God Bless and keep you through these sad times. Susan Norman (daughter of Marlene Rohr/Norman/Selzer , daughter of Richard and Eloise Rohr.

I have worked with Stephen 23 years of my career at Duane Arnold and consider Stephen a great friend and peer. He was always looking at something new with exuberance for it. When he acquired the object of his desires, he didn't accumulate material objects, he often gave away watches, televisions and the like to people who needed it with no expectations of compensation.
His caring behaviors for his wife and all his friends and colleagues was always present and the man would go out of his way, any time, any place to help someone. I will always remember him fondly.

We are so sorry for your loss. Stephen P always lit up the room and was a joy to be around. Spent may a day and night on shift with him at the plant and mid shift was never dull! I remembered today that Stephen P took Lianne and my engagement pictures. He loved his cameras, cars and music! He will truly be missed down here, and I'm sure he's already doing some personnel inspections up there!
Rest in Peace Stephen P.

Piano lessons, a beloved dog (Tippie?, maybe), Corvettes and many midnight stories are punctuated by a quick laugh and a smile with his head thrown back a bit. And always a special place for Carol, in all things and in all ways. Many, many friends will miss Stephen P., but carry forward memories that allow them to hear that deep laugh as if it still echoed true.
Carol and sister, our deepest condolences on your loss and hopes that you find the opportunity to celebrate his life amidst the grieving.
Steve will now be pulling rods or rotating fans at the nuclear plant in heaven, where licensing is not an issue. To have such a long career in such an exacting and demanding industry...I guess that comes from the Marines and how he was brought up. Steve always knew the right emphasis on the statement "you can't put too much water in the reactor", and how to balance work and home and play.
May all the Holy Men and Women, Saints and Angels gather him into God's grace for eternal life. And may God's Blessings continue to rain down on his friends and family.
God Bless the memory of Stephen P. Rohr.
