Eppel family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Sue. I worked with Sue as a nurse at St. Luke’s years ago and was given a wonderful lesson in graciousness and compassion every time I worked with her. Such a lovely person and such a great nurse. I am grateful to have known her.

I had the honor of knowing Sue when I worked at the Views of Marion and can honestly say she was the kindest & most gentle person I have ever met. I loved her dearly and was proud to call her my friend. Sue was a wonderful person who raised an amazing family. I wish you all the best. Thanks for sharing Sue with us. Even though I won't be able to attend Sue's service I will be there in spirit

The obituary does a remarkable job of including Sue’s wide ranging talents. Few people are so amazingly talented, share the talents so generously, and are genuinely humble. I enjoyed her and Bob through the years. Blessings on the family they were so proud of.

So sorry to hear about Sue's passing. As a fifth/sixth grade teacher at Coolidge Elementary in the early 1970's I became aware of the special "gifts" of both Bob and Sue. I was fortunate to have been invited to their very charming "log cabin" a few times and observe the dream home that they created and built. I will always remember Sue's open, welcoming, and friendly personality whenever she would greet someone!

I feel so grateful that I had the chance to know Sue during my time at the Views of Marion. She was such a sweet, caring, and gentle soul, and I truly loved her dearly. I feel lucky to have known her. It was clear how much love Sue had for her family, and she was truly a wonderful person who raised an amazing family. My heart goes out to each of you during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing Sue with us and allowing me the privilege of knowing her.
