Memorial

Harold Minard Tenney 82, of Marion passed away October 26, 2026. A private service and inurnment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 – 6 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Marion American Legion. 

Harold was born on October 26, 1944, in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Robert Lewis and Gretchen Ann (Hubbard) Tenney. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Harold worked at LeFebure for over twenty-five years. He later worked for Cedarapids Inc. and Swiss Valley. He was married to Nancy Tjaden on September 8, 2021, in Cedar Rapids, IA. In his free time, he enjoyed dancing, boating at Lake Delhi, woodworking, and playing games and cards. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Nancy of Marion, IA; sons, Chad (Elizabeth) Tenney of Evansdale, IA, Bradley (Jemmieblle) Tenney of Washington, IA, and Adam (Gail) Tenney of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren, Justin, Brianna, Kaitlyn, and Audrey Tenney; and great-grandchildren, Audrey, Willow, Isabel, and Layla Tenney. 

Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers, Robert and Gerald Tenney.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family who will be planting a tree in Harry’s memory.
