Memorial

Carolyn J. (Rowan) Junker, 88, of Marion, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2026. A visitation will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday, November 4th with the funeral following at 11:00. Visitation and funeral will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carolyn was born in Cozad, Nebraska on August 5th, 1938 to Lewis and Helen Rowan. Carolyn married Raymond Junker on December 21st, 1957. They later settled in Marion where they built their life. Carolyn enjoyed reading, sewing and crocheting. However, she loved spending time with family.

She is survived by son Tim (Sheila) Junker of Walford; son-in-law, Brett Freeman of Wichita, KS; granddaughters, Jessica (Adam) Weimer of Park City, KS; Sheryl (Andrew) Phillips of Wichita, KS; great grandchildren, Lucas and Phoebe; and many extended family members.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years; parents; daughter, Connie Freeman; and brother, Darrell Rowan.
