Brian Mutert, 65, completed his final route October 4th , 2026 and went to his eternal home, leaving behind a legacy as vast as the highways he traveled. Visitation will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Brian was a big, strong man with a heart that far exceeded his imposing frame. To know him was to know true, unconditional love and selflessness. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, at any time, never asking for anything in return. His generosity and fierce loyalty made him a pillar of strength not just for his family, but for everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
As a dedicated over-the-road truck driver, the highway was Brian's second home. There weren’t many highways in the United States that Brian and his beloved semi-truck didn't drive on. Over decades of hauling across the country, he accumulated millions of miles and a countless number of friends. From coast to coast, Brian made a lasting impact on every life he touched, leaving behind a network of friends who will deeply miss his warm smile his storytelling, and his steady, dependable presence on the road.
While he loved the open road, Brian's true north was always his family, who loved him with all their hearts. He was a deeply devoted partner and a proud, loving father. But of all the titles Brian held, perhaps his favorite was "Papa." His grandchildren were his absolute world. No matter how many miles separated them while he was working, his grandbabies were always at the center of his universe, and the time he spent with them brought him his greatest joy.
He leaves behind his loving partner Charlene; his cherished children Tim Clark, Michael (Audrey) Clark, Matt (Trista) Mutert, Lacey Mutert, and Tucker Mutert; he also leaves his adored grandchildren, who will forever carry his strength, kindness, and memory.
