Memorial

Lori Rae Wittenberg, 67, passed away November 3, 2026. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 12, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.

Lori is survived by her son, Shane (Tina) Trimble; grandchildren, Brennen (Shyla Vomacka), Westin, Kiptin and Tenley Trimble; and brother-in-law, Mike Langridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron “Doug” Wittenberg; parents, Wally and Katie Hansen; siblings, Sandy Langridge, Diane (Dick) Yorko and Todd (Shelly) Hansen; and niece, Min Grimes.

Lori retired from General Mills. She loved flowers and gardening, fishing, being outside and shopping. She loved watching the sunset at home, spending time with her family, grilling out, camping, horses and Lifetime movies.  Lori supported her grandkids motocross racing for over 12 years. She absolutely loved watching and supporting them; She cherished being a part of their activities. 

Lori knew she had a very loving family and cherished her strong family bond. She appreciated when in time of need, her daughter-in-law, Tina and grandchildren, Brennen and Westin, would drop what they were doing to help her.
