Memorial

Norman Bradley King, 66, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park and will begin at 1:00 PM.  A celebration of life will be held at his sister’s home following the graveside service. 

Norman was born on September 21, 1959, to John and Audrey (Jenkins) King. He graduated from Kennedy High School with the class of 1978. After high school, Norman proudly served in the U.S. Army. He gave many years of service to Midwest Janitorial Service and even worked at Randall Foods. 

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, metal detecting, and playing golf. Norman also enjoyed wood working with hand tools, and watching TV, especially The Simpsons. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them. He will be greatly missed. 

Norman is survived by his siblings, Jo-Ann Stephenson, Terri King, John King, James King, Susan Durgin, Mark (Dawn) King, Dan (Jennifer) King, and Amy (Jim) Burgess; 32 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sandra, and his brother-in-law David Stepehson.
