Memorial

Diane K. Moore, 82, passed away June 6, 2026. Memorial Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until 11:00 am Memorial Service at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids.  Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Todd (Cara) Moore and Tim Moore; daughter Chrystal (Bruce) Alcorn; stepson Jason (Heather) Moore; grandchildren Gretchen Moore; Makenzie (Jennifer) McMullen, Bethany Moore-Guers (Andrew Guers), Ericka (Calvin) Korns, Spencer Moore (Lindsay Atherton), Jack (Alexis) Moore, Emerson Moore, and Benjamin Moore; greatgrandchildren Cian McMullen, Prudence Korns, Harrison Guers, and Preston Guers; sister- in-law Joyce Moore (Paula Jantz); several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John, parents Gareth and Helen Cüft, brother Dennis Clift, sister Patricia Clift, stepdaughter Kelly Laton, and daughter-in-law Angella Moore.

Diane is a 1962 graduate of Jefferson High School and is also a beauty school graduate, She was employed by the Cedar Rapids Police Department, Flower Pot Cookies, Armstrong's Deli and Witwer Senior Center. She baked, decorated, and delivered beautiful cakes and mints under the fun business name CakesnMoore. Diane was an active member of her community. She attended Asbury Methodist Church. She and John were inducted into the Jefferson High School Hall of Fame for their volunteer work in the concession stand. Diane also volunteered at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library.  John and Diane attended University of Iowa women's basketball games for over 40 years. They also acted with the western group Hole in the Sock Gang for several years.
