Steven LeRoy Rowray, 67, of Cedar Rapids, passed away July 18, 2026.

He was born on July 1, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Lloyd LeRoy and Wanda June (McQueen) Rowray. Shortly after graduating from high school, Steven joined the U.S. Navy. He worked as a finish carpenter and spent the last ten years working at Home Depot. 

Survivors include 2 sisters, Lynn Richards (Bob) and Wendy Voss (Bill); 4 nephews; and 2 nieces.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Janie Townsend; and a nephew, Ira Mark Richards.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Home Depot for their friendship.
