Ramona Joan Welsh, 93, of Marion, died on Easter Sunday April 5, 2026, surrounded by her family.  A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. A visitation also  will be held on Sunday April 12, 2026, from 2-6 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Diana (Mark) Powers, Deb (Steve) Blood, Patrick (Lisa) Welsh and Michael (Loretta) Welsh, her grandchildren, Ben (Lindsay) Blood, Jenna (Cody) Jandik, Elizabeth (Tyler) Starks, Jessica (Erik) Bohlken, Shaun Welsh, Riley (Annie) Welsh, Janey (Cody) Oberfoell, Jesse Kirk, great grandchildren, Kaelynne Blood, Ryker Blood, Griffin Jandik, Breccan Jandik, Woodson Starks, Fletcher Starks, Truett Welsh, Megann Crawford, and Grace Bohlken. Also surviving is a brother, Raymond Perrin of Lebanon, Tennessee and a sister, Rebecca Doty of Williamsburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl, parents, Jess and Amelia Perrin, 3 brothers, Robert, Ralph and Richard. 

Ramona was born on October 29, 1932, in Riverside, Iowa, the daughter of Jess and Amelia (Puckett) Perrin. She was united in marriage to Earl Welsh on February 7, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, St Annes Circle, and Mended Hearts. Ramona volunteered at Mercy Medical Center Gift Shop for 38 years. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and school functions, playing bingo and spending time with family.

Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous in memory of Ramona.
