I was so saddened to read of Mrs. Searles' passing. She was my 4th grade teacher at Kenwood in Cedar Rapids many years ago ... was always one of my favorite teachers! I remember her having groups of students over to her house for special dinner rewards. She truly was the best and I know she had a great impact on so many children's lives. I am so sorry for your families' loss ...

Ruth was our next door neighbor at our cottage at Delhi. She was a lovely woman . We enjoyed living next door to her. She will be missed.
