Norma Ann Baughman, Age 94, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away at the Hiawatha Care Center on Monday, July 28, 2025.

A private funeral service will be at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. A private burial will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Norma was born on October 24, 1930, in Bloomfield, IA. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Proctor) Piper. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. On May 17, 1950, Norma married the love of her life, Dean W. Baughman. Norma and Dean loved to travel together as a family as well as together in their motor home after they both retired. Norma was a wonderful cook. She loved gardening and canning her vegetables. Norma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Norma’s memory are her three sons, Dan Baughman of Port Hadlock, WA, Dave (Joyce) Baughman, of Minneapolis, MN, and Dennis Baughman, of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Quinn Baughman, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Anne Baughman, of Minneapolis, MN, Sarah Baughman, of Hamilton, MT, and Michael Baughman, of Minneapolis, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brothers, Deo, Don, and Danny.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Marion Methodist Church.
