Memorial

Teresa Mae Kline 67, of Cedar Rapids, passed away December 22, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, on Monday, December 29th at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 4:00 PM. 

Teresa was born on October 20, 1958, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Keith and Stella Mae (Baldwin) Ohrt. She graduated from Vinton High School in 1977. On May 20, 2006, she graduated Cum Laude from Mt. Mercy College with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business. During her education, she spent a year studying abroad in France. Growing up, she was a member of Rainbow Girls.  Teresa was united in marriage to Jeff Kline on June 19, 1982, at Vinton, Iowa. She worked as a telephone operator early on and finished her career as a computer analyst at Rockwell Collins. Teresa was a voracious reader and enjoyed scrapbooking. She loved going to the beach and sunbathing. Teresa was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids and in her professional career was a member of SHRM. 

Teresa is survived by her husband, Jeff of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Elizabeth Kline of Cedar Rapids; sister, Tami (Donald) Bray of Vinton; brothers in law, Mark Kline of Winfield, IA and Kent (Gina) Kline of Solon; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Doug) Heims of Cedar Rapids; several nieces and nephews; and her three beloved Yorkies. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Thomas Ohrt; and two beloved Yorkies.  

Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, or a local animal charity of the donor’s choice.
