Memorial

Cory Michael Dague, 41 of Cedar Rapids went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2025. A visitation will be held Thursday, April 24th, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. A service will be held on Friday, April 25th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Church: 443 Cross Rd, Marion, IA 52302. A luncheon will follow at the church.

Cory was born on March 22, 1984 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 2002, and worked for AWS with the Glaziers Union. He developed many great friendships over the years while playing high school football and baseball, and participating in slow-pitch softball. He loved being outdoors and spent time fishing and enjoying nature. His friends and family meant the world to him. He will be remembered by his contagious laugh, and ability to bring humor to any situation.

Cory is survived by his parents; Terry (Angela) Dague, Cheryl (Kevin) Saathoff; Siblings, Emily Boettcher (husband Nate and children Grace, Elin, Reagan, and Olivia), Alex Dague (Wife Zadie and children Aubree, Gunner, Peyton, Solomon, Thomas, and Jack), Casey Dague, and Nicholas Saathoff; Step siblings, Brett Paulsen (wife Nikki and children Jacob, Vivian, and Luka), Melissa Williams (husband Jason and daughter Lauren), Sarah Hekel (Derek); Maternal grandmother, Dolores Blood, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by Maternal grandfather Donald Blood, and Paternal grandparents Everett and Fern Dague.

Cory will be missed dearly, but we know he has found eternal peace and his legacy will carry on through his many loved ones.
