Our condolences go out to Helen's family - she and James were long time supporters and lovers of the symphony.

What a beautiful picture of Helen 💜 She was such a kind person and I always enjoyed her in the salon at Methwick. I was sad to see her leave but so very happy she could be closer to her dearly loved family. I’m sure glad I got to make her more beautiful every week and this picture shows her beauty inside and out !!… may she rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Helen played in our Ridge Bridge foursome with Pat Hermann and Donna Brownell. We enjoyed good conversation, food and even played a few hands of bridge. On Mothers Day I saw your family at the Manor dining room.

Julie and Nancy, Your mom was such a gracious and kind woman. The world was better because of her. I remember what a wonderful conversationalist she was, I loved visiting her especially after my mom passed. Last time I was in CR I wanted to visit her but I figured she had moved. So happy to see she had moved closer to you. She will be missed, I know she loved you all so much. She talked a lot about her family, you made her smile! Peace now to your mom as she’s now most likely arranging bridge in heaven and enjoying some reunions! Blessing, Barb (Brownell) Shoemaker

Sending condolences 🙏 ☹️

Dear Nancy and Julie- What I remember most about your mother was her unfailing kindness and grace. Such a lovely and thoughtful woman! My parents dearly treasured their long friendship with both your mom and dad through their mutual Rockwell Collins and Iowa State affiliations.

I knew Helen from Fourscore (Collins Wives Club) for many years. She was always nice and friendly. Everyone liked her. Jean Deasy
