John “Jack” Walderbach

Born in Anamosa, IA
Born on Dec 18, 1933
Departed on Oct 25, 2024

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of my uncle John. Although I have been disconnected from relatives for most of my life, uncle John was one of the few I interacted with on occasion and I knew he was loved by his family. Please accept my condolences and I hope your grief is replaced with relief that John is in a better place now. Love, Lance

My condolences to Jack’s family. I didn’t know Jack that well, I met him at the Tuesday morning bingo in Hiawatha. I only found out this summer that he was from Anamosa and I know a lot of the Walderbachs…. I also graduated from Anamosa high school.. Bert, sending loving thoughts & prayers 🙏🙏💕

So sorry for your loss! The Walderbach family is in our thoughts. Jack and Roberta's love for camping, fellowship and family were admired by many. They impacted so many people's lives positively as camp hosts and during get togethers with the breakfast bunch and Army Corp camp hosts. Jack and Roberta were always the life of the party and never met a stranger! Jack's passion for others was in everything he did! Thinking of you all! Roberta, Kathy and family, you are in our thoughts. Tina, Brad, Hunter, Maddison, Chase, Kelsey and Otto Gehrke

Renay Sorry for your loss. Garret

My condolences to Roberta and the entire Walderbach family. When I first started at Quaker Oats, John was working in the Pumproom. He was a gracious and kind man. It has been my pleasure to visit with John and Roberta these last few years at the Quaker Oats Product Sales. He will be missed.

Thoughts and Prayers for Peace, Comfort and Memories for Roberta and Family. So Blessed we had that last campfire together. You both are family, great memories working and living half the year with you two during our 6 years for Corp of Engineers. Jack's smile and sweetness will never be forgotten, memories held dear. We Love you Bert, may God wrap His loving arms around you through your loss.
