JoEllen Rehder

Departed on May 15, 2024

Diana & Family, Wishing you peace and happy memories.

Iā€™m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I wish I had gotten to know her better. She was always so sweet when I would see her in the store. I hope all your great memories bring you comfort when you are missing her.

I was honored to know JoEllen from my growing up years at MCC. She was a huge support and encouragement to me as I went into ministry with The Navigators. She was a great woman of faith and would often send me notes of encouragement along the journey. I am so thankful for her life and the opportunity to have known her. God's peace be with you during this time of grieving.

Diana and Family, It was my pleasure as Elder and Co-Pastor of Interim Ministry at Marion Christian Church to spend time visiting with JoEllen and sharing Communion with her. She was so genuinely honest about her memory issues and remarked every time I stopped in to visit that she would not remember my visit soon after I left! I said, "That's okay. We'll have a good time getting reacquainted when I visit next time." And we did. We talked a lot about her experiences as Elder at Marion Christian Church and her participation in church activities over the years. Her bright smile and laughter as we talked always warmed my heart. May God give you all peace and comfort as you remember and give thanks for her life! Pastor Gary

Mikey, Diana and Pat ā€“ Please accept my condolences you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was a wonderful person. So many found memories of her and all of you as a kid. ā€“ Rusty Ryan
