Jim was always cheerful and friendly whenever met him, at Quaker 45 years ago or at Westminster more recently. Good memories. Condolences to his family Warren and Pam Feerer

Jim was a very quiet man, gentle, nice, and very intelligent. I enjoyed several conversations with him while working at Quaker Oats with him. My sincere condolences to his family. RIP Jim...fly high with the angels. ❣

Jim was a very nice man. I knew him for a long time. He was indeed always very friendly, cheery, and nice! I remember him riding his bicycle virtually everywhere. My staff and I will miss him! Dr. John Wollner

I used to live next door to Jim. He was so friendly, and he would come out and greet my dogs with treats and pets over the fence every day, and tell stories about his beloved dog, Rusty. He will be missed!

Mr. Mc Whinney ~ Such a friendly - kind - gentle - peaceful man. I just did a brief Christmas rush help at Quaker Oats and Mr. Mc Whinney was always so pleasant. The few & far between times that I saw him were way too sparse. Our Lord Almighty made us one terrific man.

Bob and I for 21 years lived across from Jim and his parents. The whole family were great niebors. Jim took great care of his mother after Les passed. Jim was always in shape from riding and walking. Very sorry to hear he has joined his parents. Condolences to his family.

Jim was a hard worker and very pleasant person to work around at Quaker Oats, I never really knew about his military background, but, as a fellow veteran, I honor his service to our country.

I met Jim at the Y.M.C.A..I saw him there, quite a bit.I knew that he had retired from Quaker Oats...I suggested he get a pass to the outdoor pools..So i would chat with him there..also..He rode his bike all over.. he said he attended quite a few Kernels...games....He will be missed....
