Robert Andrew Hamilton, 55, of Cedar Rapids, passed away, February 18, 2024. Visitation: 9-11 AM, Monday, February 26, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, February 26, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. 

Robert was born on December 6, 1968, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the son of James Marvin and Mary Adelle (Dewey) Hamilton. He resided in Cedar Rapids, IA most of his life and graduated from Kennedy High School. After high school, he attended college in Florida and Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. He was married to Jodi Martens on September 10, 1994, and they later divorced. Bob had worked in real estate and construction. He was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins. Bob loved being active outdoors and enjoyed rock music. 

Survivors include his children Chelsea (Trevor Clinton) Hamilton of Harpers Ferry and Cale (Bean) Hamilton of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren Grayson Clinton and Crew Clinton; mother Mary Hamilton of Cedar Rapids; sister Susan (Tim) Horne; and brother Tom (Karen) Hamilton of Ohio; former wife, Jodi Grimes of Cedar Rapids.

Preceding him in death was his father, James “Jim” Hamilton.
