Jim and Family, A very heart felt prayer for you and your families. She was always so sweet and nice whenever I would see her. Heaven has gained a truly wonderful Angel. Lori Wallerich (Lafler) and family

Pat and family, Your loss is shared by so many in this community and beyond. I rejoice in having known Mary Kay and you through the years and am humbled at her impact on Czech village and accomplishments. Her legacy will live on but I am thankful that her battle with cancer has ended. May God bring you all comfort and peace in this time.

To Pat and all of Mary Kay's family - Mary Kay's impact on our community cannot be overstated. Her relentless determination to make a difference was amazing to watch and we truly believe she could not have done a better job at honoring her Czech ancestry. That be said, we can't even imagine the hole she has left in your lives. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

Our sympathy on your loss. Though we really only met Mary Kay once when purchasing a vehicle from you, we are reminded of her by my daughter,Mary Kay Vecerka. We did not have a name picked out and so..there was neighbor little girl that came and saw our dad in the garden. We thought name went good with our Czech name. You did meet our Mary Kay when her father passed. At the auction you got a truck or so May says. Gaylon and I cannot how hard this for you and your family. She was a good person and did so much for the community and you all. Gaylon and Lois Hynek now in Colorado

I was taken back when Stephanie shared this news with me last week. You immediately reflect on your own si ilar losses, some even recent, then imagine how you all are coping. I didnt have a thought or a prayer. But an enjoyable memory of AAU times and basketball games with the girls. Seeing your family, a true family, out having fun and support to the kids. Then your family continued that support to community. I'm not saying anything here you don't know, or, you can imagine me seeing through my eyes. Life has now changed, and Mary Kay molded all of you into good people.

We didn't know Mrs. McGrath well yet when she graced our path we were no stranger to her. As our son and "daughter-in-law" work for McGraths we have been fortunate to meet her family. What a beautiful legacy she has created to carry on...

Pat and family, Though you moved years ago from Iowa City your family is always fondly remembered. From the girls dance classes, Regina days to Justin hanging at the Campbells and all the kids playing, wrestling around, etc. Mary Kay always had a smile and an open door to visit! What she has left you are so many memories to share and love that will carry you on. Though she will be missed everyday she will be your angel looking over you all! Blessings and Prayers from the Watson family!
