Memorial

Scott A. Mullin passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, in Hiawatha. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.  Interment will be private. 

He was born July 12, 1957, in Cedar Rapids to Gerald and Mary (Goodyear) Mullin.  In 1987 Scott started work for the Cedar Rapids Community Schools until his retirement in 2012. Scott loved camping, the outdoors, drawing, video games, playing the drums and listening to music. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all.  

Scott is survived by his children; Jennifer Mullin (Kim Biretz), Jeremy (Abby) Mullin, Joe (Ranell) Mullin, Jessica Mullin (Reece Kahler) and stepdaughter, Carrie Farmer; grandchildren, Kaytlynn Biretz, Hanna and Billie Mullin, Matthew and Emily Boyles, Myleigh Howell, Harper Mullin and Kyleigh and Owen Farmer: siblings; Lynne Mullin and Mark Mullin.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathlyn; his parents; and many loved and spoiled kitties.
