Vernon "Buck" Pickerill

Departed on May 13, 2023

It has been many years, but have fond memories of Buck and Jo. We were invited into their home for a get-together back when I worked at People's Bank with Jo. They were so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. They were obviously such a happy couple and I'm sure Buck will be surely missed by all those who knew him. My sincerest sympathies to Jo and the rest of the family.

Shelley and family, I am sorry for your loss.

Shelley and Patty, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great person. I remember the good time with him and the family up at lake Delhi. He and my dad would fish off the dock. I enjoyed rose day with you all at the lake. He helped build the addition on the cabin. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was a Service Rep for Amana back in the 80's and got to know Vern mostly from working with him on the phone, but all of us Rep's would visit the plant in Amana a couple of times a year which allowed me to get to know Vern better. He always struck me as a kind and caring man. For whatever reason, I've had him on my mind these last few weeks (after 30 some odd years). I checked the internet and found his obit; not quite a month after his passing. I'm very sorry to hear this and I send my deepest condolences to his family. It looks like the Lord Blessed Vern with a wonderful family and also a long life. I wish him "Fair Winds and Following Seas". Rest in peace my friend.
