Memorial

Theresa Marie Ocenosak, 86, passed away March 8, 2023. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, at All Saints Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Theresa is survived by her 11 children; Mary, Patty, Lori (Bill), Rodney (Lois), Yvonne (Ike), Doris (Donald), David (Renee), Betty, Sharon, Vicki (Jeremy), and Janice (Carlos); many grandchildren and  great-grandchildren; sisters, Monica Krachey, Mary (Bob) Rose, and Sister Delores Clare. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary DuCharme; siblings, Clem DuCharme, Marge (Harry) Konichek; brother-in-law, Kenny Krachey; former husband, Donald Ocenosak and granddaughter, Casey Wallace. 

Theresa graduated from Prairie du Chien High School.  She married Donald Ocenosak in 1953.  She worked many different jobs throughout her life - Madon’s Supper Club, Randalls, Barlows, and Ryan’s Steak House. She cleaned All Saints Catholic Church for years. Her most important job was being a wife and mother to her beloved family.  Theresa was a devoted Catholic and EWTN advocate. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Oldorf Hospice House.
