James "Jim" Burrows

Born in St. Joseph, MI
Born on Aug 27, 1938
Departed on Jun 25, 2023

I first met Jim on an Al Koepke choir tour of Italy. He was a good traveling companion. Got to know him better as a fellow resident at Cottage Grove Place. Jim had a caring heart and looked out for other people. As his health declined, he still had a sparkle in his eyes. I join in celebrating his life. He was a good person who made a difference. Jim was a special person with a kind heart. He was a wonderful conversationalist and alway made me feel welcome at family events! His character definitely shinned through! Our sincere condolences!

We have so many good memories with Jim and Kaye. They were both great people and so easy to visit with. Jim always had a good story or two that would make us chuckle. They will be missed. Sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way through the mourning process.

Brent, Danielle - so I sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. A kind guy, quick with a smile and joke. You two were the apple of his eye and he was devoted to your mom. I have no doubt he was a proud grandfather as well. With love, Cousin Steve

I got to know Jim when we were on the same bowling team at May City. He was always upbeat and made bowling fun. He was a good bowler too. We miss him.

Jim was a very kind, caring and fun person. He was a charmer in every genuine and good sense of the word. A good friend, golf partner and joke teller. He knew everyone and everyone knew and liked Jim. He was terrific with kids of all ages. Jim could engage anyone in conversation with ease. We will all miss him. Prayers to his family and many friends.
