Condolences to the family, I am so sorry to hear Steve has passed. I worked with him at the Wilson Ave Hyvee years ago and he was one of my favorite people all time. Although we had a bit of an age gap I think we enjoyed our conversations while we worked together. He talked about his family a lot, I know he will be missed.

I read this recently and after sitting with you and Steve in your home I know it's how you feel. There will be tears because it's over, but many smiles because Steve Happened! I know the wonderful memories you have will return those smiles to you all. I'm blessed to have met you, I'm sure there is much rejoicing with all those who got there before him. Donna and family: Please accept our sincere sympathy on Steve's passing. Duke DeJong let us know. I enjoyed working with Steve those 15 yrs at Wilson Ave bakery - we made quite a team. I remember witnessing to Steve in 1980 at his parents' house and over the next 14 yrs. I continued to share the Word of God and pray for his salvation. In 1995 after leaving HyVee for a career change, I saw Steve and he shared with me that he trusted Christ as his Saviour. What a blessing that was!! We look forward to seeing Steve in heaven one day.
