Memorial

Mohammed Aquil Quraishi, 88, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Private Interment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mohammed was born on December 12, 1933, in Delhi, India. He worked as a Statistical Forecaster at GTE as well as a professor of Physics at Penn State University (York Campus). His hobby was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters Aisha Holback of Chandler, AZ, Atiya (Scott) Zach of College Grove, TN, and Amna (Bob) Cline of Plain City, OH, and eleven grandchildren.
