Memorial

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of a shining light in our lives. On Saturday May 21st, 2022, we lost our mom to her heavenly abode.

She was born in a small village in India in 1948. She grew up in happy household with 7 siblings. She was the youngest daughter and was affectionately known as “baby”. At an early age, after the passing of her parents, she took the responsibility of helping to manage the household. She was married in 1970 to our father, Birendra Bahadur and continued her life of serving and caring for others. She helped raise and take care of our father’s brothers and sisters. The children were small and had lost their mother suddenly. They fortunately found an ideal mother figure in her. Together, over many years, our parents preserved through great hardships. They worked and sacrificed together to keep the family together and eventually flourish. Throughout all these years she was the foundation that our family was built on. Without her sacrifice, care and happy outlook on life, surely we all may have fallen into despair.

She was always an extremely giving person. All her good friends became family. She was always ready to help anyone with anything she was able to do for them. She gave them her time and her love. Along with some super tasty meals!

She especially loved her four grandchildren. Sanvi, Dev, Avi and Eva. Since they were born, they became everything for her. Not a single day went by without a hug, kiss and always ending with a smile. It has been one of our greatest accomplishments to be able to provide this to her. They were her light in the darkness of her illness. Their love gave her hope, strength and unmeasurable happiness.

We would like to thank everyone that was a part of her life. Although it is an enormous loss for all of us, we are all blessed to have such a tremendous soul bless us with her care, devotion and love.

She is survived by her husband Birendra, sons Shivendra & Shachindra and their respective wives who she treated like her daughters, Bhavya & Binny. Her grandkids – Sanvi, Devendra, Avindra & Eva.

May God bless her enlightened soul.
