Steven R. Kolsto, 66, of Hiawatha, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, 3:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Steven was born on March 24, 1956 to Richard and Jean (Madsen) Kolsto in Cedar Rapids, IA. He graduated from Norway High School. Steven was employed at Rockwell Collins for 29 years. In his retirement he worked at Merwin Pharmacy. Steven was a member of the IBEW Local 1362 and the Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club.
Steven had a passion for classic rock music. He also enjoyed fishing, riding his Honda Valkyrie, building model airplanes, and collecting watches and cuckoo clocks.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Jessica Liscum of Allen, TX; grandchildren, David, Aliyah, Ryder Liscum, and Mary Fisher; siblings, Betty (Jerry) Ehlts, Tracy (Phillip) Meek, Eric “Sonny” (Kerrie) Kolsto, and Patty (Jeff) Snyder; nephews and nieces, Kevin Kolsto Jr., Ashton Meek, Michael Joyner, Dylan Meek, Cassidy Meek, Holly Ehlts, Carly Ehlts, Dillon Wildman, Donovan Wildman, Delaney Wildman, and Jordan Kolsto; great-niece and great-nephew, Kenzie and Gage; and his beloved companions, Sassy and Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kevin Kolsto.
