Danette was a good friend of my sister from 7th -12th grades at Lisbon Community School, and continuing after graduation. She was a spunky gal and a caring woman. Her brother and sister were in my class. We had fun times at the Bartas' big home and with their big dog! What a long good-bye you have had Dana & Darcy. May you and your families find peace.

So terribly sorry to hear of Danette's passing. She was my boss at Rockwell Collins for many years, but also my friend. She had so much compassion for her fellow man and was a lot of fun to boot! There is no question in my mind that she is with the Lord now. I hope the family can find some peace in that, and the memories of a wonderful woman.

I was so sorry to see Danette's obituary today. She & I worked together as carhops at the Lisbon A & W. I was one of 2 Mt. Vernon girls that worked there. Danette & I had so much fun together with Vera Blood, Sally Teague & some I can't remember. I have thought about Danette so often through the years. My prayers are with you now. Your Mom was one of the highlights when I would come to visit Sue at the Care Center. I loved watching her and Sue together as they seemed to become good buddies fast. I can just imagine the reunion when Danette entered Heaven Sunday morning. It makes me smile to think of them "Raising Cain" together. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's heartwarming to know though that she will be watching over you as your Guardian Angel. I know Sue has been watching over us as we have lots of stories we can tell you about her letting us know she's still with us. I know Danette will be forever with you in your hearts.

Dana and Darcy, I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Thinking of you during this sad time.

Steve and I here for you. Thinking of all of you.

Dana, Darcy & Kelsey, I’m sorry for the loss of Danette. I enjoyed her laughs, all of her facial expressions. She was such a fun lady and will be greatly missed! Hugs to all.

I will miss her....
