Lucas Allen Yenter, 37, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories where visitation will begin at 9:30 am.

Survivors include his wife, Mallory; children, Layton, Keyton and Bryton, all at home; mother, Jonetta (Scott) Crawford of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Josh (Kari) Yenter of Colorado, Nicole Yenter of Cedar Rapids, Stacie (Shige) Sugioka of Marion; paternal grandmother, Myrna Yenter of Mankato, MN; uncle, Jim (LeAnn) Brown; step-sisters, Beth Crawford, Jill Crawford, and Sarah (Tommy) Mione.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Lucas was preceded in death by his father, Mark Yenter and his maternal grandparents.

Lucas Allen Yenter was born August 10, 1985, the son of Mark & Jonetta (Brown) Yenter. He served an enlistment in the U.S. Army. On May 7, 2022, he married Mallory Tipton in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lucas worked at Whirlpool Industries for many years and enjoyed fishing with his children. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
