Marlene Cameron

Departed on Apr 24, 2022

Ken and Kathy, I remember what a gentle soul your mom was! She and my mom, Jackie Smith Taylor, had many great times at FBC! Blessings...

I remember sharing laughs and enjoying bishops pie with Marlene! Marlene was a joy to work with at Farmers State Bank and welcomed me while I worked there as an intern during high school and college. I have several fond memories of being in the 'teller circle' of the main bank in Marion, including some of the battles over the ceiling fan!

Kathy and Family, I'm so very sorry to learn of the passing of your mom. I have fond memories of being at your house and my mother always enjoyed seeing your mom at the bank. Sending prayers and wishing you God's Peace.

Marlene is one of the FSB legends with 40 years of service as a Teller. We still reminisce about how customers waited in line just to talk and do business with Marlene. Her sweet and sincere connection with others was genuinely her. She always had a great since of style and we shared laughs over her latest finds at Von Maur. May your memories give you comfort in the days ahead. Sending prayers to Marlene's entire family.

First met Marlene at FSB and then again at Paneras for coffee and conversation. I will always think of her when I see a chocolate muffie, her favorite. Gary and I send our sincere condolences. She will be missed.
