Scott and family. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. What a great man! I remember him from early years in the printing industry. I'm sure he was so proud of you continuing the long family legacy. My heart is full having the honor of knowing him and supporting a family owned business. Prayers to you and your family. Sheri & Keith Hartkemeyer

Dear Scott and Family I was saddened by the news of Bill’s passing but am comforted in knowing what a special life he had and wonderful family he left here on earth to carry on with the foundation he and Harriet laid. It was a sincere pleasure knowing him, he was as genuine and pleasant a man as I’ll ever meet. Prayers to you and yours in the days ahead. Dan and Chris Nekvinda

I have so many fond memories, both as a child and as an adult of spending time with Uncle Bill and and Aunt Harriet, and of course the rest of the “Iowa Cousins.” Uncle Bill was always so kind and and a noble, wise way about him. Reflecting on my experiences with him and all the stories I know about his life has led me to think about each of our individual legacies as well. Through his relationships with his family, his friends, and his community, he seemed very connected and intentional about the life he built. He was a wonderful man that we were lucky to know. Sending lots of love to all of you, our cousins who lost your beloved father and grandfather.

Bill's family. It was my pleasure to know Bill Gasway for many years as a Mason and a friend. He was kind and gracious in the way he handled people. I observed that in the way he ran his business. I join in those who are celebrating his life. He mad a positive difference in many ways. He was an example that many of us can follow. William C. Jacobson, friend, brother Mason, and retired educator. God's blessings on you all at this time.

I was fortunate to have worked for Bill, Harriet and Scott Gasway. I owe a debt to the Gasway family for mentoring me in business. Bill’s enthusiasm for his friends, family and the many community organizations he promoted serve as an example of a life well lived. Cedar Rapids benefitted from having him and his legacy will live on in his absence.
