Melinda Fisher

Born in Cedar Rapids, IA
Born on Jul 23, 1955
Departed on Dec 1, 2020

It was with sadness I learned of Mindy's passing. The Fisher family was a very strong part of my childhood and Mindy especially holds very dear memories along with Dick and Elayne. Although our family paths moved apart in life the memories are still there. You are in my thoughts and I hope Mindy has found peace.

I am deeply saddened by Mindy's passing. Mindy and I spent our school years together, walking to McKinley and Washington and even riding the bus to Kirkwood. We were each other's maid of honor. The entire Fisher family was a huge part of my life growing up. I will forever hold those memories in my heart.

My sister Lisa just shared with me about Mindy….I’m SO sorry to hear about this. God, as kids she always made me laugh. I know she has struggled a long time with MS….my heart goes out to you and your family. I was stunned by the news this morning. SO many memories of hanging out at your house and IN the airstream and secretly taking out the T-Bird for a drive around the block. I just wanted to reach out and say you’re in my thoughts and I hope you all are doing ok. Can’t imagine losing a sibling….ugh. The great memories of hanging with your family 3 houses away on Knollwood has always stayed with me. Elayne and Dick treated me like their son. Peace......

My dearest Fisher family. I am so saddened by the news of Mindy’s passing. The world has lost such a great person. My thoughts and prayers are with all your family.

Hello, You all don't know me but Mindy did. I was her dental Hygienist and she was my friend. She was helping me start my non-profit. She and I recently created a video with the intent to put it on my website. Im soooo sad Im truly struggling to get my head around that she is gone. May I please use the photo you have with her name honored in memory of on my website and classes for my nonprofit? Id love to speak with one of you. Thank you. My hope is to see Mindy again in heaven with her new healthy body. :)

To the Fisher Family and Friends, We here at Miracles in Motion were so sad to hear of your loss. We are grateful for the time she spend with us and the horses here. Thinking of you.
