What a loss to this world. A great teacher, neighbor, coach and mentor. Love and sorrow to the family. He will be missed in this world.

So sorry to hear of Jim's death. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family from The Peters!

The Brethren of Mount Vernon Lodge #112 pass on our sympathy for the loss of Jim. He was a Mason for 57 years. He was a member of Mout Cavalry #95 til 1986, then joined Mount Vernon the same year.

Jon, Kris, and Chris, I'm so, so sorry for your loss. What an icon your Dad was to the Mt. Vernon community. He may have been tough, but look what he accomplished in his life time. Never before has that happened. And there will never be another Jim Bellamy. And to have a football field named after him, quite a life he had. He and your Mom are now together again, they will have a nice Christmas. Please know you are in our special thoughts. Ed and Annamae

My sincerest condolences to the Bellamy family. Coach Bellamy truly was one-of-a-kind. I am blessed to have had him as a coach and teacher. I know my mother really enjoyed visiting with him when he stopped into the pharmacy in MV. He always made her laugh, she always looked forward to talking with him. Rest in peace Coach

My sincere condolences to the Bellamy family. I was the Sports Editor at the Mt. Vernon-Lisbon Sun in the early 80’s. I had the privilege and honor to work with Coach covering football, girl’s basketball and track. He was a true coaching icon and will be truly missed.

Mr. and Mrs. Bellamy were loving pet parents to Ollie when I met them a few years ago. It was a privilege to take Ollie for walks, and I appreciated our time together. My sincere condolences to the Bellamy family.
