I am so sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. He was such a supportive man and loved his family deeply. I’m sure your Mom was there with open arms ready to embrace the love of her life.

My prayers are with you all during this time. Jerry was a great guy, he had a wry sense of humor and loved to visit!! Best of all he loved to watch old westerns...nothing better!

My prayers are with all of the family members who will be attending the funeral and visitation. I wish so badly that I could go and my heart will be with you during the service and following. Grandpa was a wonderful person who had a heart full of joy and love. Both grandma and grandpa guided me closer to God and were examples of what it means to be a good person. They will remain in my heart for the rest of my life and I hope to be reunited with them in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Jerry. Although I never met him, I had kept up with Wieland family news through his brother Jim when he lived at Denison. My great grandmother was Elizabeth Wieland Ahart, a sister of Stella Wieland Rule. Our relationship was distant, but we all know "family" is important no matter what the distance. My sympathy to all of Jerry's family.
