I knew Mary for many, many years as I worked at First Trust and Savings Bank where Mary became my favorite customer and a friend. She was a great lady and today there are few people like her. I am glad that she lived so very long and hope she was happy. My condolences to her family.

Deepest sympathies to Cathy and extended family. Unfortunately i never met Mrs. Nassif but heard about her from Dr. M.N.Payvandi as their children were born and growing. What a great help she was during those busy years.
Then as years passed I would hear about how attentive and concerned Cathy was for her mother's safety and needs.
I appreciate the love of mothers and daughters and how the roles reverse over the years.
What I didn't realize in reading Mrs. Nassif' obituary was what an involved and self taught woman she was. Amazing all the things she accomplished and was involved in with a high school education.
A wonderful representation of " the greatest generation ".

Sending out hugs and prayers to the Nassif family at this difficult time. I was fortunate to meet Mary through her care giver-Debbie. I would help her do Mary's hair once in a while. We would have little parties and order pizza and play bingo. Mary was such a sweet and special lady with a genuine heart. I am going to miss her deeply. Rest in Peace classy lady. As a young child I remember walking into St. Paul's Church with Mrs. Nassif and 'little' Cathy for my Creative Dramatics class. I LOVED IT! I went on to be a hammerhead with Nathan on the Sinclair stage at Coe directed by Mrs. Nassif. Thinking of all of you.

Cathy and Family,
Anne and I send our most sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your mother. We both have happy memories of her, working with the Dance of the Hemispheres at Dieman Bennett ballet studio. Mary was always so helpful and kind to both of us. It is very hard to lose your mom. It just leaves a hole in your heart that nothing will ever be able to fill. Our prayers go with you and your family as you adjust to your loss.
