Frank was always good natured and was always prepared to share a joke or amusing story (guess that comes with being a long-time Cubs/Hawkeye fan). We enjoyed his company and we'll miss him.

Dear Susie, Dan, Jane, Andy and extended family,
Your father was an Irish treasure! May God hold him in the palm of His hand and all of you close to His heart. We were blessed by his presence in our lives.

I will always have fond memories of Frank. I enjoyed visiting with him when I would mow and work in his yard. Some times I’d take a break and go in and watch The Iowa game for a bit with him and Elinor. He was a good man !! Sue, Julie and I send our most sincere condolences to you and the rest of your family. He was loved and respected by many.

I last saw Mr. Kinney at my Mom's visitation. After more than 50 years the smile, and the twinkle in his eyes were the same. The memories his obituary brought back were amazing. I'm not sure there are neighborhoods like we grew up in anymore. Each house had their own whistle code that would call the kids in for dinner. Ours was three short toots.

My sincere sympathy to all of you, especially to Suzy and Elinor. I hadn't known your dad very long but the time that I did know him (thru Chill), it was truly a joy. We will all miss him.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Eileen Naber

To the Kinney family and Boots - please accept my sincere condolences. He was such a part of my childhood - and an inspiration as an artist/designer. Yes, that twinkle in his eye...Warmly, Kathy
