Many thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time. So remembered your dad when I worked at Medical Art for a dentist. A very handsome and kind person he was. He is with God and is at peace.

To The Puk Family,
I offer my deepest sympathy to all of you. I worked with your Dad from 1987 until his retirement at St Luke's Hospital. I feel like I know all of you as he talked often of his family and one could tell how much he loved and care about all of you. Your Dad was an excellent surgeon and always brought new
technology to Ophthalmology. He cared so much about his patients and for the staff that worked with him in the operating room. Your Dad displayed kindness and compassion to me, my husband, and family following the loss of our son. It is a memory I will never forget.
Your parents were very special people that will live on forever within all of you his family and many others in our community.
May God Bless ...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We have known Dr Puk for many years. I did frustrate him with my many eye problems. He was a neat person. We are sorry to hear of your loss.

Laura and I extend our sympathy to John's family for your loss.
John served his country, his profession, his patients, his friends and his family admirably. His was a life fully and well lived.
John and I took great delight in his reliably greeting me as "The doctor's doctor." That comment said more about his good nature than about any attributes of mine. This a particular fond memory for me.
We are sorry to miss the service as we are visiting my even older than I brother in Savannah, GA. Our thoughts are with you.

My memories of Dr. Puk date back to the care he provided our family for well over 50 years. My sister, my mom, my kids and even my maternal grandmother (who always gave him a hard time, which he loved and returned) were all his patients and benefitted from the superb care he provided, as well as his ever-present smile. When years ago I moved back to town and began practicing, it was impossible for me tocall him by his first name; he was always such a gentleman it would have been unseemly to address him so informally, even in non-professional situations. It was wonderful to have an ophthalmologist with whom I had such long-term connections for my patient referrals. I've missed him since his retirement, and I know his family will feel his loss deeply. My sincere condolences.
